Rick and John break down opening weekend for the Alliance of American Football.

Ricks first and biggest issue coming from the Atlanta Legends loss was the lack of Aaron Murray. Murray was not put in the game until late in the 4th and granted he threw 2 picks, but he is the biggest name on the team and deserves to be used more if the team wants to become more popular with the Atlanta and SEC fans. Rick also understands the fans want faster games and the kickoffs have no bearing on the games, so removing it is no big deal.

John is not a fan of not having a kickoff in the AAF and no extra points. John understands that the extra point is not always necessary, but of the numerous rules that the NFL struggles with, the extra point is not one that the AAF should mess with. They both agree that the AAF can be successful, but will need more than a few SEC and former NFL guys to bring interest.
