Falcons Radio Network analyst Dave Archer joined John and Hugh at Training Camp on Day 4.

Archer was at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday, where estimates say 60,000 fans showed to watch the team's first padded practice. He paid particularly close attention to the offense with eyes on Julio Jones and new rookie WR Calvin Ridley. It's year two under Falcons offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, and most  are looking for the offense to bounceback. And, like most fans, Archer’s expectations are high for the upcoming season, and rightfully so.

“The fan may be skeptical, but last year’s expectations were a little high. You need to jump back into the top five of scoring offense, you can’t leave 11 points on the board.”

In his observations, he also pointed out the play of CB Desmond Trufant, who Archer feels will be playing with a chip on his shoulder this year.
