Georgia Bulldogs writer for The Athletic, Seth Emerson, joined Jon Chuckery and Randy McMichael on Sunday to recap the Bulldogs' victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and preview the SEC Championship game between Georgia and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

On the differences between this year’s team and last year’s team...

“The offense is more explosive," said Emerson. "They still want to be a run-first team but between [Jake] Fromm and the wide receivers they are really good.”

Emerson said the big question heading into the Alabama game is if Georgia can get to Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and how the secondary can match up with Alabama’s outstanding receiving core.

On Jake Fromm versus Justin Fields...

“Fromm has just done too much to relinquish the starting job at this time," said Emerson. "Fields would have to be so much better in spring practice for Georgia to make a change heading into next season. It’s an embarrassment of riches for Georgia.”

Emerson went on to mention that it doesn’t look like Georgia linebacker Monty Rice will be back by the SEC Championship and the impact that will have on the defense versus Alabama's outstanding offense.

Emerson said Elijah Holyfield has been the biggest surprise for the Bulldogs during the 2018 season. He also talked about how Georgia has an advantage in the kicking game against Alabama.
