McCann on 2019 expectations: 'I almost hit 20 homers in 2017 ... That's where I feel like I'm going to be'

The Atlanta Braves welcomed a familiar face back to the lineup, signing veteran catcher Brian McCann to a one-year, $2 million deal on Monday.
McCann joined The Morning Show with John and Hugh on Wednesday and told fans what they can expect from him in the 2019 season.
"Last year was--I was stuck behind the eight-ball from Day 1. I should've gotten the surgery (on his right knee) after the World Series (with the Astros in 2017)...I still have a lot left. Two-years ago, I almost hit 20 homers in 2017 and had a productive year. That's where I feel like I'm going to be. I feel like I'm going to be more back to 2017, if not better, this year."

McCann has sported the No. 16 his entire Major League Baseball career, including the previous stint he was here in Atlanta. Utility player Charlie Culberson wore the number last season with the Braves but McCann says the two have worked out a deal.
Brian McCann told @JohnFricke & @Bighugh53 he just had call Charlie Culberson and ask nicely to get jersey No. 16 back. McCann said he was going to buy Culberson "something nice."
