Grant McAuley stopped by for the Braves Breakdown with Rick and Randy McMichael. Grant talked about other teams scouting the Atlanta Braves prospects and the possibility of some trades going down.

Grant emphasized that the Braves aren’t looking for rental players but rather players who have at least two to three years left in their contracts.

Rick suggested the Braves could be in the market for Chris Archer. Grant would not put the percentage chance to get Chris Archer above 50 percent.

Grant tried to explain who Julio Teheran is to Randy who isn’t sure exactly what type of pitcher he is.

Now that the All-Star break has passed, Grant tried to breakdown who the Braves are and what their identity is. He admitted that the Braves haven’t been able to take advantage of their schedule and beat the teams they should beat to bolster their win record.

Grant mentioned what he believes the Braves need to do against the Dodgers in their upcoming series.

It doesn’t seem like Arodys Vizcaino will be back any sooner than three weeks or longer and there is a possibility that Soroka might not pitch again this season, says Grant.
