We're just six weeks away from the Atlanta Braves first Spring Training workout of the 2019 season at the new CoolToday Park. The Braves have made two offseason moves that came back in November, signing 3B Josh Donaldson and C Brian McCann.

The real question heading into training camp is the health of a couple of players who went out with injuries last season: SS Dansby Swanson and rookie pitcher Mike Soroka.

Swanson was sidelined for the postseason after suffering a partially torn ligament in his left hand back on September 25th against the Mets. Meanwhile, Soroka was placed on the 60-day disabled list due to inflammation in the rotator cuff of his throwing shoulder.

Braves General Manager Alex Anthopolous joined John and Hugh on Thursday and gave them an update on both guys heading into Spring Training.

Braves pitchers and catchers report on February 15 and will hold their first workout on the 16th at CoolToday Park. Position players report a few days later on February 20 and begin workout the following day.
