Braves not same level as Dodgers, Astros

The Atlanta Braves were in good position last night to win the opening game over the Dodgers, and then in the 7th inning it fell apart and the Dodgers pulled away for an 8-3 win.

On Saturday John Fricke and Hugh Douglas took a look at the series and the season as a whole and wonder if the Braves are just limited in too many ways and they can't compete with baseball's top clubs.

"You have three teams and there's this gap. Just like in College Football," says Fricke. "It's the Dodgers, Yankees, and Astros, and there's just a gap."

"When you point to the gap I don't think it's talent, its one of those intangibles. The Braves are a really good team and they can run with the Dodgers," Says Hugh Douglas. "But it's that fine tuning that makes the difference.
