Rick and John have the daily Braves Breakdown with Fox Sports Braves analyst Byrd. Paul admitted he had trouble-sleeping last night and wanted to fight but the best news is that Acuna’s CT scan came back negative. Paul told us he texted the assistant GM and told him he would pitch for free in one game to retaliate against the Marlins for the bush league actions last might. Paul referenced the unwritten rule about retaliation in MLB when someone from the other team shows you up or you’re defending one of your players. Paul described what happens when Acuna gets in the box and said he does nothing to signal to a pitcher that he needs to be drilled. Paul told us he didn’t see Acuna do anything disrespectful towards to the Marlins even though some people referenced him flipping his bat at one point. Paul said Touki Toussaint is the real deal but needs to better on both sides of the plate. Paul praised Touki Toussaint as having a bright future with the Braves and how the farm system is stacked.
