The Atlanta Braves pulled out a win against the San Francisco Giants Wednesday with the help of rising star Austin Riley to seal the deal.

Duane Walker believes that Riley has made the Braves better and adds some edge to their game, making the Braves more dangerous to defeat in the NL East.

In Wednesday’s game against the Giants, Riley made another start at third and handled the hot corner nicely. In the bottom of the sixth inning, Riley beautifully handled a sharply hit ball and got the force out at second to end the inning.

Not only did the young phenom get it done defensively, but he also carried the Braves offensively by hitting a three-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Giants away.  In only 30 at-bats, the 22-year-old already has four home runs, nine RBI, and a .367 batting average.
