The Braves enter a key 14-game stretch tonight holding a 7 game lead in the NL East. They host the Nationals for 4 games this week and travel next week to DC for 3 more.

These 7 games out of the next 14, combined with 7 more against the Phillies, should be the deciding factor in who wins the NL East.

John Fricke and Hugh Douglas discuss the key head-to-head matchup with the Nationals and what the Braves need to do to lock down the NL East.

"My magic number is 8," says Hugh. "We split both 4-game series and then win each 2-game series, it's over."

"Nationals gotta take 3 of 4," says Fricke. "If the Braves just get a split in this series it puts the Nationals in a box."
