When should the Atlanta Falcons look to draft a quarter back?

Since the Tennessee Titans defeated the New England Patriots, the Atlanta Falcons lock in at the 55th-overall pick in the 2020 Draft. The Falcons will have three picks in the first two rounds but seven picks in total.

Robb Tribble and Harper Lebel talk about what the Falcons should focus on in this year’s draft. Harper isn’t certain what the Falcons will do, “Do you trade [your picks> for someone you really really want or... do you accumulate and get younger guys?” The anticipation for what the Falcons will do this year is on everyone’s list but Tribble sees a concern with our quarter back, Matt Ryan.

Tribble says, “I thought I saw some erosion in Matt Ryan last year… Ryan shows up for every game and gets hit every year… Missed 3 games his entire year and he's been in since 2008.” With that being said, those hits will catch up to him eventually and the Falcons may need to be prepping a quarter back.

One thing they both agree on is the Falcons need to draft according to need not the best guy on the board. “Don’t go for the shiny new trophy!"
