Atlanta Falcons linebacker Bruce Irvin joined The Midday Show with Rick and John live from Flowery Branch on Wednesday.

Immediately, Irvin talked about how nice it is to be back in his home town, having grown up here and references his past life just trying to survive as a teen, living on the streets, doing whatever he had to do just to survive.

Irvin talked about his successful career and he had the opportunity to play for New England for more money, but he wanted to come home.

"You can't put a price on a piece of mind," said Irvin, and money is not his goal anymore. Irvin is most excited to be playing closer to his family and also play on the same field as former players like Chandler and Vick.

Irvin talked about his relationship with head coach Dan Quinn and his only real instructions are to be the best Bruce Irvin you can be and to help the rookies.

They ask about his main goal for his first home game with the Falcons and he said you have to stop the Cowboys run first and let the team know it will be a physical game.

Finally, they talk about the future of the Falcons and he thinks this can and will be a Super Bowl caliber team.
