Atlanta Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitorff joined John and Hugh at Super Radio Row at the Georgia World Congress Center to discuss the latest with the Falcons.  Dimitroff said it will be a busy offseason for the team.  He also discusses what the Falcons could or couldn't do with the 14th pick in the NFL Draft.

"We haven't been in this position (14th overall) in a while.  We could always look to move up into the top 10 or even moved back if the right situation presented itself"

Dimitroff discusses how he views what he sees as strength in this upcoming draft.  "There are some great linebackers.  Some really great players in the top 5 where a lot of people are focused"

What will Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn's role be for this upcoming draft and free agency.

"Dan and I talk every day about so many different scenarios for this offseason.  That's what drives us in the offseason.  Whether it's the draft or free agency.  There are so many pieces to the puzzle with how we go about things.  We have to be creative.  It's not cut and dry where we say "We need a running back or offensive lineman"

John and Hugh ask Dimitorff if there is a goal to make a bold move or two in free agency this offseason.

"It's something where our eyes are wide open.  Something that we A) have to protect our investment in Matt Ryan.  So we will look on the offensive side of the ball.  And B) we will look at the defensive side of the ball and what we can do to improve there."

Dimitroff discusses the offensive line and the transitions for rookies to come into the NFL and make an impact.

"It's easier for the guard to come in and play right away.  It used to be about getting the bookend tackles, but that has changed some over the years"

In terms of free agency,  "both guards and tackles are extremely expensive now."

Speaking of both sides of the ball Dimitorff says versatility is the key ingredient when evaluating players on both the offensive and defensive lines.

"We are looking for someone who has versatility.  So important on your offensive line and for the defensive lineman as well. We are looking for that versatile guy who has the speed and can do different things.  Last year we had some struggles there on both sides of the ball"

As he has previously stated Dimtiroff hasn't backed off what his main priorities are for this offseason for the Falcons.

"Grady is the main focus for us.  He will be here. We will get it done.  Same with Julio. There is no timetable on either of those situations though"

Dimitroff finishes off his time with John and Hugh discussing how happy he is for the Super Bowl to be here in Atlanta.

"I'm loving the fact that Arthur has a chance to host a super bowl.  I'm really excited for him.  We have people from all over the world to come see his stadium and attraction"
