Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn joined John and Hugh for his weekly visit to talk about his team's preparation for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

Atlanta has been hit hard with the injury bug in the early goings on the NFL season. Just yesterday, they officially placed safety Ricardo Allen on IR with a torn achilles. Safety Keanu Neal is also out for the season with a knee injury, and linebacker Deion Jones is out until at least Week 10 with a foot injury.

Offensively, left guard Andy Levitre has also been lost for the season with a torn tricep.

But that's not where the injury list stops. Running back Devonta Freeman has missed the last two weeks dealing with a knee injury.

Defensive ends Takk McKinley and Derrick Shelby both exited the Falcons Week 2 match-up against the Carolina Panthers with groin injuries. Both did not play against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

However, Coach Quinn did have a bit of good news on the injury front:

While Takk will participate in some of Wednesday's practice, Coach Quinn did not offer much more when it came to Freeman and Shelby saying both guys are "trending up."

With the injuries mounting up, the Falcons did make some moves on Tuesday.

Neasman played 14 games over the previous two seasons with the Falcons, and Coach Quinn talked about the decision to resign him.

"We've really like Neas, especially on the team's side of things. That was because of his speed; you know he had speed to go, he could get out on the edge, he was a good tackler. He's got some familiarity in the system but it was the roll in the teams first."
