The Atlanta Falcons (4-7) will get back to work as they prepare for the Baltimore Ravens (6-5) on Sunday.

With the Falcons postseason hopes hanging by a thread, there's a slight glimmer of hope: Could we finally see Deion Jones back on the densive side of the ball this week?

Head coach Dan Quinn joined The Morning Show with John and Hugh on Wednesday to provide a status update:

Jones has been inactive the last two weeks despite being eligible to play. Coach Quinn has said he wants the linebacker to be 100 percent ready to go before he returns to game action.

Meanwhile, Coach Quinn also gave a brief update on Devonta Freeman, who was placed on IR following Week 5's loss to the Steelers. An MRI revealed the running back would have to undergo surgery for a groin injury.

The only other injury update to note heading into this week's practice is to defensive end Derrick Shelby who continues to battle a groin injury.
