The biggest question for fans are "Where are Atlanta Falcons running game?!" Atlanta fans assumed the Falcons would be running the ball since the return of Devonta Freeman this season. Falcons are the 28th best rushing team in the NFL. Just two games in the season, Freeman has 19 carries for 41yrds avg 2.2yrds per a carry. Moving forward with the schedule, Thomas Mott talks about why the running game will have to become an important factor to the Falcons.

Austin Hooper, Falcons' tightend, talks about issues the Falcons are ironing out including securing the runing game and the lack of cohesion within the offense. Mott describes the scramble with the Offensive Line adding and losing Chris Lindstrom and Kaleb McGary. Just like the pass protection took time to figure out, the run game will take some time as well. Future games for the Falcons against Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans, and Houston Texans definitely favor the running game.
