Atlanta Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce joined Andy Bunker and Bryant McFadden on Thursday as the Hawks have 10 games left in his inaugural coaching season.

While rookie guard Trae Young and second-year forward John Collins have gotten the majority of the spotlight this season, Pierce said there's another rookie that's stood out this season.

"Kevin Huerter by far. He's the guy that we're all most excited about," Pierce said, talking about a player that's been impressive this season outside of Young. "In a weird way, he's the guy that's least known. Everyone knew about Omari Spellman...everyone knows about Trae Young...John Collins has been here for a year already so there's some familiarity. But no one really knows about Kevin Huerter, myself included coming out of Maryland."

"We've seen a couple games where he's just taken over. We're going to see more of those games next year but I'm really excited about his growth; just being able to include him more in the game plan and the uniqueness of what he can do offensively."
