For the second-consecutive month, Atlanta Hawks rookie guard Trae Young was named NBA's Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month.

Young averaged 23.3 points, 9.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds in the Hawks 12 games played in February, and narrowed the Rookie of the Year contest to a two-man race with Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic.

The Hawks first-round pick put up 22 points, six rebounds and four assists in a 111-104 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night. But his most impressive moment came before the game even started.

Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry has been known for his long-range pregame shots from beyond the arc. Young has been compared to Curry ever since the NBA draft, and it looks like the comparisons will continue.
