Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young was named a starter for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.

Young, who finished first in fan voting, is the first Hawks player since Dikembe Mutombo in 1998 to be voted as an All-Star starter.

The second-year Hawks star spoke exclusively to 92.9 The Game and said he'll be participating in more than just the All-Star game.

"I'm going to be a part of all three--three days--and we'll see how each day goes," Young said. "I'm just going to go and spend my All-Star break at All-Star weekend so I'm going to enjoy it."

Young also had a message for all the fans who helped vote him in.

"I want to thank everybody who voted for me, all the fans in Atlanta. I'm looking forward to going out and representing Atlanta, the Hawks, and just going out, putting on a show for everybody in Chicago."
