Jason Longshore joined Dukes & Bell and told the guys what the parade was like today “I honestly can’t put it into words, I took so many pictures and videos, there were more people at the parade and rally than would attend an entire season of professional soccer when I first started following it.”

Jason talked about who the team might hire to replace Tata Martino “There’s a few names floating out there, Scallato said he’s not renewing his contract, they have a few more games left, he’s a guy who played in the league and knows it really well.”

When asked if the team is planning on resigning Michael Parkhurst after they declined to pick up his option “That’s what I would lean to, I don’t think they want him to play anywhere else, I don’t think he wants to be anywhere else, I think this has energized him. I think there is a time soon where you start transitioning from guys like Parkhurst and Larentowicz with younger players.”

Longshore talked about the rumors of Miguel Almiron’s contract being purchased by English Premier League Club “That talk is really going to ramp up now, most of the teams we’re hearing about are in England that’s where he would get the biggest contract and you will get the most for him, I think he wants to test his skills over there, but the price has to be right.”
