Atlanta United announced their 2020 MLS season schedule on Thursday.

As announced earlier, the 5 Stripes will open their season on the road against expansion team Nashville SC.

They will also face MLS' other newcomers Inter Miami twice this season; the first match taking place May 24 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The second will be on the road in Miami on July 23 in a nationally televised game.

A couple of Atlanta United schedule notes:

  • They'll play in two CONCACAF Champions League games against Motagua prior to the start of their MLS season
  • They won't play Colorado, Vancouver or Dallas
  • They'll host DC United on July 4th

Also, Voice of Atlanta United Mike Conti noted the toughest part of the 5 Stripes schedule.
