Jason Longshore joined Dukes and Bell to recap the United-Sounders game yesterday, Jason told the guys “Frustrating is a good word for it, Seattle came in very defensive. Seattle has decided to be as negative and defensive as possible, but the United still created their opportunities but just couldn’t capitalize.”

When talking about inconsistency once again with Video Assisted Replay yesterday, Longshore said “VAR is supposed to come into a play that is a clear and obvious error, if it takes a long time is it a clear and obvious error? After yesterday I don’t know what a handball is, Escobar did everything he could to get out of the way of that ball, they go to a long replay to see if there was an error made.”

The guys asked Jason about the impactful play of Julian Gressel this season, Longshore said  “Gressel has been so good with connecting with Josef Martinez this year, seven of Martinez’s goals have been assisted by Julian Gressel. I think he’s just starting to get his grips on how to play that role he has been in since Nagbe has been in there.”
