Atlanta United Goalkeeper Brad Guzan joined John Fricke and Hugh Douglas to preview last night’s shutout win over Toronto FC.

“That’s the way I like it. In all honesty as a Goalkeeper, you are trying to stay mentally engaged. It only takes one chance sometimes for them to score,” Guzan said about his easy night not having to make any saves against Toronto FC.

“It certainly has a different feeling than the early part of the season when we were struggling,” Guzan said.

“One of our biggest strengths is our transition to attack. When we start to build out of the back, we know there is a bunch of space. When we can find our attacking players with the movement and the space we play with we know we are going to have a good chance.”

“The last two days of Champions League has been amazing. This is why people love professional sports. To see the scene at Anfield and then to see Tottenham come back against Ajax, it’s a beautiful thing,” Guzan said when asked about the comebacks in UEFA Champions League the last two days.

“We leave that term (rivalry) up to the fans. Us as the players, we know we are only as good as our last game. We need to make sure that come Sunday, rivalries or not, we need to make sure we are playing like we have the last few weeks.”
