Jason Longshore joined Dukes and Bell on Monday to talk about the draw on Sunday between Atlanta UNited and the Portland Timbers.

Mike asked him why Ezequiel Barco was lined up on the outside.

“Going to the 4-2-3-1 and not having [Tito] Villalba not ready to give you 90 minutes, Barco had to be outside," said Longshore. "Barco might be better centrally located, but the team is better when [Miguel] Almiron is in that spot.”

When asked about the Darlington Nagbe injury Jason told the guys: “Nagbe has been critical supporting [Jeff] Larentowicz on defense, but you have a few options to replace him and a lot of it will depend on the opponent.”

Longshore talked about the missed opportunities by United. “When you’re an elite team in the league, and teams come in your house knowing they can’t match you, they have to play very defensively, and Atlanta United has to know how to deal with that,” Longshore said.
