Jarrett Smith joined Jeff Benedict and discussed the possibility that Argentina might steal Tata Martino away from Atlanta United.

“He has a pretty good relationship with the people in charge, so it's very conceivable that he could want to go coach the national team one more time for another round and try to go after glory,” said Jarrett Smith, who also spoke to why the national team job is less stressful, and where ATL United could turn if he does leave.

Smith touched on Josef Martinez cutting his international break short...

“You want Josef at 100 percent for those games," said Smith. So I think the team might have reached out to Venezuela and said we're happy to release him for one of these games, but we'd like him back before the second one.”

Smith also looked at the team getting healthier as Darlington Nagbe gets closer to returning, and the possibility that United overlooks an upcoming opponent focusing on Real Salt Lake.

“Real Salt Lake is on a roll right now and you don't want to deal with them because you don't know which RSL team shows up and they like to exist in those extremes,” said Smith.

Smith also spoke about what confidence United should take to Colorado this weekend and shared his prediction for Saturday.

“I think Atlanta goes in and takes care of business in a big way," said Smith. "I think it's an impressive performance, I think they manage to do this 3-0."
