Atlanta United President Darren Eales joined Dukes & Bell and talked about the team’s game against Columbus, if it’s time to be worried and who has been a bright spot this season so far.

Eales on the game Saturday night.

“I’ve never seen a game where the ball would roll about a foot before it stopped.” Eales said “Steffen is a terrific goalkeeper, I’m really happy he’s going to Manchester city and for me it can’t come a moment too soon because he’s been so good against us.”

Darren told the guys it’s not time to panic.

“Our window is open now and then we have another window open in July.” Eales said “You have to be creative if you’re going to do that but it’s early now, and thank goodness were in a league where seven teams make the playoffs, there’s absolutely no reason to panic yet, if this were the middle of July then I would be worried.”

When asked about who has been a bright spot this year.

“Miles has gotten his chance to play and been fantastic.” Eales said “Barco has come back and looked sharp, and with the attitude he’s shown has been great.”
