Darren Eales joined Dukes & Bell for his weekly segment and told the guys what it felt like to get the team’s first ever playoff win “It was absolutely a fantastic performance, and I felt Tata set them up perfectly, we had the goal that was called off by VAR and there was a tendency to feel sorry for ourselves and they kept playing and got a goal to win the match.”

Darren gave the guys his thoughts on the controversial offside call that went against the United Sunday night “It’s the right call, there was a short corner kick and their man was  a yard off the post so it made Miggy offside. We assumed that the call was Jeff offsides so we had a problem with it initially but it was the right call.”

When asked about having a 1 goal lead in the series that is based off aggregate goals Eales said  “The first thing to say is we’re only halfway and there is a lot of Futbol to play, so they have to now get a goal and at home if teams really come after us it helps us. We have to make sure we have the right mentality and go out there so it’s a great spot for us to be in.”

Eales talked about the return of Miguel Almiron “Really good, I thought he did a great job, tackling didn’t show any issues, the piece he gives us to stretch us especially with us playing the next game at Mercedes Benz.”
