Heading into Saturday's game against a Zlatan-less LA Galaxy there were many questions posed about Atlanta United running a 3-5-2 formation. With all three designated players, Ezequiel Barco, Josef Martinez, and Pity Martinez on the field together many wondered how it would look and how the rest of the players supporting them would fall in.

After a 3-0 victory, the questions seem to have been answered. With Justin Meram and Julian Gressel on the wings below that trio, the United attack looked as dangerous as they have all season.

United broadcaster Mike Conti shared his thoughts on how the 3-5-2 worked out.

"I liked it," said the Atlanta United play-by-play voice. "The 3-5-2 is working and we were wondering if they'd be able to play with Barco and Pity at the same time. You worry about how much running Meram and Gressel will have to do."
