Atlanta Falcons tight end Austin Hooper told 92.9 The Game reporter Caleb Johnson that he still has not received a contract offer from the team.

Hooper, who is set to become a free agent when the new league year starts on March 18, is participating in the Pro Bowl in Orlando, Florida. It's a game that could very well be the last for Hooper in a Falcons uniform.

Falcons' general manager Thomas Dimitroff told reporters at the Senior Bowl on Tuesday that the team has started talks with the veteran tight end.

“I’m sure you guys are waiting to ask more about Mr. Hooper. The reality right now is that we are trudging along. Once we get back from the Super Bowl, after the Super Bowl week, we’ll continue to look and see how we are moving forward. But at this point there are no updates on Austin.”

In his four years with the Falcons, Hooper has caught 214 passes for 2,224 yards and 16 touchdowns.
