There's been competing reports out of Flowery Branch about the timeline for Austin Hooper's return.

While Ian Rapoport reported that Hooper would be out a month, Dan Quinn denied those reports.

Inury Expert Will Carroll addressed the MCL injury with John Fricke and Hugh Douglas and why he leans towards Dan Quinn's comments being more accurate.

"MCL sprains are tough to read because they are secondary stabilizers. It normally takes a couple weeks and the delay is usually getting used to the brace so I think he'll be back sooner rather than later. This week, probably not."

Carroll also discussed Devonta Freeman's foot injury.
