The Atlanta Braves bullpen has been a little rough this season, to the point that the front office decided to bring in a trio of new relievers at the trade deadline.

Even the new guys had their struggles as Shane Greene lost his closer role and Melancon and Martin had some bumpy outings as well.

Recently however, the bullpen has been pretty lock-down, highlighted last night by 3 innings with 6 strikeouts and 0 runs allowed.

92.9 The Game Braves insider Joe Patrick spoke about the pen and shared some stats about them getting the job done and being quite impressive while doing so.

"Bullpen is turning around and guys in the clubhouse are feeling more comfortable right now. When you bring in new revilers it has an effect on all the guys in the pen, but in the last 3 games they've allowed just 1 run in 11 innings, they've clearly turned the corner."
