Georgia hasn't beaten Alabama in football since 2007 and the Bulldogs have lost the last five games between the two schools. Many have pointed to this season being the year that Georgia finally gets past Nick Saban and Alabama

After incredibly close calls the past two meetings between Georgia and Alabama, College Football columnist Brett McMurphy is ready to say that Georgia will knock off Alabama this season.

"I think this is the year. The fact is the last 2 years they could have, should have beat Alabama and they didn't. A big factor for teams playing Alabama is mentally you have to know that you can do it, and I think Georgia is in a really good spot," McMurphy said. "I think there might be a slight regression for Alabama, they lost 11 players to the NFL, a record high for Alabama, new coordinators, and Georgia actually knowing they can do it, that's why I think Georgia can do it."
