The No. 3 ranked Georgia Bulldogs are a little over a week away from their primetime matchup against No. 7 Notre Dame (Saturday, 8 p.m. on CBS).

Hall of Famer and former Dawgs cornerback Champ Bailey joined the Midday Show with Andy and Randy to discuss the matchup, the tailgate party he's hosting in Athens and his time playing with head coach Kirby Smart.

Bailey played alongside Smart in his years at Georgia. He said Kirby was always meant to be a head coach.

"I saw it," Bailey said. "I saw that he would be a coach. I mean, he was smart. He was always getting us lined up right. He was actually a coach on the field.

"It's funny, I can just remember certain plays, things that would happen, and how he would respond. He was always ahead of us. Sometimes, ahead of the coach."
