Tim Brando: "Alabama has a schedule that is beneath contempt"

August 29, 2018 - 1:29 pm

Fox Sports Tim Bramdo joined Rick and John with the latest from around College Football and the problem he sees in the sport. They start the conversation with his current schedule and calling the Nebraska game Saturday including the debut of Scott Frost as their new head coach.

They talk about UGA and Tim thinks Kirby Smart should play Justin Fields alongside Jake Fromm in their offense but also believes we put way to much emphasize on who the starting QB will be for an SEC team. Tim doesn’t believe the SEC as a conference get too much benefit of the doubt. In a classic Brando lines, he believes teams like Alabama get the benefit of the doubt from the Playoff Committee and he flat out thinks Bama’s non-conference schedule is beneath contempt.
