Voice of Atlanta United Mike Conti joined John and Hugh to talk about the team’s 1-1 draw with NYCFC over the weekend.

There’s one concern as Atlanta United prepares for Columbus on Wednesday is that they looked gassed. You could see it as the match went on against NYC on Saturday. However, the good news is, no matter the outcome of the game, United with enter the World Cup break at the top of the Supporter’s Shield race.

One player the team may be without this week is Miguel Almiron, who injured his shoulder very early in the draw.

“You need Almiron but you also need to look at this as the long play here. You’ve got a road match; it’s not vital you get three points on the road. You want to, but you don’t have to. And then you have the World Cup break. If they’re playing it safe, maybe Miguel Almiron doesn’t play on Wednesday.”
