Atlanta United supporters set a new MLS record in attendance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday, 72,243 strong, as the team would go on to a frustrating 1-1 draw against Seattle Sounders. Voice of Atlanta United Mike Conti joined John and Hugh to recap exactly what happened.

John Fricke was listening to the game on the radio as he was driving back, and had never heard Conti that frustrated calling a match. Just to see Seattle playing "negative" soccer wasn't fun.

"What really bothers me is that MLS was banking on this game perhaps being the most watched regular season MLS match of all time because it was on Fox right after the World Cup Finals. They wanted a good showing for MLS, the casual soccer fans who might be coming around to the sport because of World Cup. What Seattle did yesterday was very poor advertisement for MLS. It was very, very unfortunate."

Atlanta United remains at the top of the Eastern Conference despite the draw with 41 points. New York Red Bulls are right behind them with 40 points.
