The Atlanta Falcons are looking for a momentum shift in the form of a win at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday.

The Falcons enter the game at 1-5 with their defense underperforming through the first six games. Head coach Dan Quinn's seat is blazing as he figures out a way to get things turned around.

But what about general manager Thomas Dimitroff? If Coach Quinn is fired during the season, or at the end of the season if things remain the same, does Dimitroff go through him?

"I don't know. Now, if I'm Arthur Blank, I'm cleaning the house," Randy McMichael said. "That's nothing against Thomas. I mean, it's just time for a new direction."

"I think once one coach is fired, and the GM is retained, I think if another one is fired, the GM has to go."

When Coach Quinn was hired in 2015, Dimitroff remained the GM. They decided to co-team build the roster.

"If both of y'all are team-building, and this team looks like this, then you're co-fired," McMichael continued.

Is there any chance Dimitroff could save his job if he were to make some moves during the season? Sports Illustrated mentioned Vic Beasley and Austin Hooper as assets the Falcons could potentially move.

"I'm interested to see what happens between now and (the trade deadline)," Andy Bunker said. "If the Falcons keep losing, and Thomas Dimitroff makes trades, I wonder if that signals that Thomas Dimitroff is planning to be here and maybe he's heard that he might be."
