Could the Atlanta Falcons decide to go with a cornerback in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft? The guys on Dukes & Bell think if he is available the Falcons should draft former Florida Gators CB CJ Henderson with the 16th overall selection.

Carl said that Henderson can do everything that Raheem Morris wants his cornerbacks to do at a high level.

“If you don’t know CJ Henderson, the kid ran a 4.3 40 at the combine and just crushed, really blew everybody away,” Dukes said. “Was a guy who had a big influence on that Florida defense. If you covet speed and you covet a guy who plays man to man and has ability to man up in this league, and if that’s what our defensive coordinator Raheem Morris wants to do more of, I see CJ Henderson as a guy the Falcons could really target early in this draft.”

Mike talked about the depth this draft has for defensive backs, but that Henderson is at the top of the class.

“I do think that you can never have enough good corners,” Bell said. “That’s why this draft is so interesting. If you were to go defensive line or linebacker with the first pick there are some really good quality corners that will be there in the second round. But not to the level of CJ Henderson.”
