The Braves open a series in Cincinnati tonight but the news is that Braves Pitcher Mike Foltynewicz is set to return Friday night at Suntrust park against the Rockies. Could that be the shot in the arm the pitching staff needs?

Carl talked about getting another starter that can go 6 plus innings will be big for the bullpen.

“All of a sudden Luke Jackson when you break down the numbers he has some redemption.” Dukes said “In his last nine outings, he’s been pretty good, AJ Minter has had five scoreless innings in his last six outings. Folty coming back could give you a shot in the arm if he can be another guy to give you 6-7 innings along with Gausman and Fried.”

Mike said that Folty’s will be joining one of the hottest pitchers in the league in Max Fried.

“Fried is getting noticed all around the league.” Bell said “Buster Olney talked about him being one of the best pitchers this season, and he should be 4-0 right now if it wasn’t for a blown start.”
