In a statement today, the NFL decided not to punish Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who was accused of assaulting his son.

Prior to the incident, the Chiefs were working on record-setting contract extension for the three-time Pro Bowler per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Now that Hill has been clear, a big deal is likely back on the table.

How does that impact the impending Julio Jones contract?

"Would it be crazy for Julio and his agent to say 'you know what, we're not really in a rush; want to see what Michael Thomas gets, want to see what Tyreek Hill gets;" Andy Bunker asks.

Jones has said he doesn't care about being the highest-paid receiver.

"There's no reason for Julio to wait right now," Randy McMichael adds. "You're still going to be the highest paid."
