The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s D. Orlando Ledbetter joined Jon Chuckery Saturday to preview the conference championship games and talk about the latest with the Atlanta Falcons' offseason.

Ledbetter when asked about if the NFL can force a particular player [Takk McKinley] to take a mental evaluation...

“No they can’t, but there are certain tests the league can take that serves as a background check,” Ledbetter said. “Dan Quinn is in a very comfortable place with the whole Takk McKinley situation and it was a very minor situation. No drugs were involved or anything like that.”

Ledbetter on if Robert Alford and Ryan Schraeder could take pay cuts this offseason...

“They will try to with Schraeder and they are going to have to figure out if they can play him at guard. The prudent thing to do is try to salvage him. Maybe he could find his mojo at camp. Robert Alford’s agent should hang up the phone is the ask him to restructure.”

Ledbetter went on to say that he believes Mohamed Sanu will be on the roster again next season.

The Falcons beat writer for the AJC went on to talk about the offensive line situation and what the team needs to do at defensive tackle moving forward.
