From just about every aspect the Atlanta Falcons' Week 1 loss against to the Minnesota Vikings was disappointing, and head coach Dan Quinn didn't shy away from that after game.

On Wednesday morning, during his weekly conversation with John Fricke and Hugh Douglas, Coach Quinn spoke about taking that anger into practice and using the poor showing as a teaching moment.

“If you’re going to have those moments, you'd better take the lessons from it," Quinn said. "We didn’t expect a performance like that and it bothered the players that we didn’t play like we were capable of.”

Coach Quinn also spoke about the upcoming game with the Philadelphia Eagles coming off the come-from-behind win they had and their QB Carson Wentz.

“Explosive plays, that’s what I saw," Quinn said. "The big-shot throws were a real factor and that gave them the spark to get back into it. He’s a really accurate thrower, tight end is as good as it gets, make you defend the whole field. We’ll have our hands full.”
