Falcons Head Coach Dan Quinn has seen his team get off to a 1-5 start and are near the bottom of the NFL in many defensive statistics.

While joining John Fricke and Hugh Douglas, Dan Quinn addressed some of the defensive concerns the team has right now.

Quinn discusses the pass rush issues and the defense in whole:

  • "No stats look good right now. Let's make sure the hits and hurries turn into sacks. How do you do that? A lot of coordination, how do we trap a QB in the pocket. To move a guy is one thing and to hit him is another."
  • "The thing you look at is where are explosive plays coming. Playing team defense involves everybody, so how do you improve on that and why does a mental error occur? Collectively that's the mindset."
  • "You always look to stand up when adversity hits. Frustrated and upset, yeah, but we also know they're all about it and they want to find the answer to get it right because we're this close and still missing the mark."
