Atlanta United President Darren Eales joined Dukes and Bell to talk some Atlanta United and Josef Martinez tying the single season goal record “That was a really good goal, this is Josef, sometimes we get on him for being so focused on scoring goals, there he is with the ball and a chance to break the record and he dumps it off to Miggy.” Eales also talked to the guys about Tito's goal, “I chuckled with Jeff Larentowicz because he gets an assist on that one, Tito is a guy who has had some injuries, it’s taken him some time to get back, and it that’s a big confidence builder.”

The guys asked Darren how he was able to find a player like Eric Remedi, Eales said “We looked long and hard, we knew when Carmona left us, so we didn’t want to rush and sign someone. We knew we needed that defensive character, and he’s not just a one trick pony, it’s been great having him because it give Tata options.”

When asked about the Ezequiel Barco's return to action for the United Darren said “He’s a young kid, everyone makes mistakes, and it’s how you handle those mistakes which shows your character. We’ve dealt with it internally, and that’s the way we handle these types of issues.”
