Are the Falcons about to introduce a 4-2-5 defensive alignment?

If you believe the updated depth chart from D. Orlando Ledbetter of the AJC, that's exactly what he's expecting.

The Falcons have only two proven Linebackers right now in Deion Jones and Foye Oluokun. They have added a few others in LaRoy Reynolds and Edmond Robinson, but they are expected be be mostly participants in special teams.

John Fricke and Hugh Douglas discuss the LB group and if they need to add to it, specifically in the first round of the NFL Draft.

"I still feel regardless of what defense you want to play you have to have those horses up front because you're talking about bieng in man to man," explains Hugh Douglas. "If you're going to do that you need to have those guys up front unless you are going to do a whole lot of blitzing."
