Hall of Fame Coach and current NBC’s Football Night in America Host Tony Dungy joined Dukes & Bell to talk about what he’s been doing during the pandemic, doing mock drafts when as a coach preparing for it, which cornerback he likes the best in the 2020 class, and how you should build a championship defense.

Dungy told the guys why you build a defense from front to back.

“Front to back for sure, that guy who can put pressure on the passer is so valuable in the fourth quarter when you’re trying to protect leads.” Dungy said “He’s so valuable in this day and age when you can’t be that physical in the secondary, yea it’s great to have a Deion Sanders back there but offenses have so many weapons you can’t build that many good defensive backs. But if you have a great pass rush that can eliminate a lot of things, so I always liked to start at the front.”
