Kurt Benkurt, UVA alum and third string QB of the Falcons, join Goforth and LeBel. Kurt talks about what he wants to get out of Thursday's game against Denver, which is not to turn the ball over among other things. The Falcons like the progress that Benkurt has made.

But this is not his first rodeo with the Falcons.

Last season Kurt Benkurt was with the Falcons in training camp as the third string QB. He was eventually waived and immediately placed on the practice squad.

With two quarterbacks under contract, Ryan and Schaub (Schaub signed a two year extension this year), it is unlikely that he will not be the Falcons backup QB this season. But with Matt Schaub having a team option next season, the Falcons may have his replacement waiting in the wings.

Kurt Benkurt has been staying busy by playing Fortnite. He recently participated in a Fortnite ProAm tournament with his partner, a thirteen year old deaf girl, who by his own admission carries him most of the time. They were able to win $20,000 for their charity in the tournament.

While Kurt Benkurt may not be the Falcons backup QB this season he is looking to improve his game. One thing is for sure, he is by far the best Fortnite player on this roster.
