Atlanta Falcons defensive end Dante Fowler joined the Midday Show with Andy and Randy in his first interview as a member of the team.

Fowler is coming off his most productive season of his NFL career, finishing with 11.5 sacks and 58 total tackles (40 solo tackles) with the Los Angeles Rams.

It was also his first double-digit sack season. But Fowler is confident he can produce another double-digit sack season as a member of the Falcons.

"First of all, (the Rams) gave me an opportunity to get to the quarterback," Fowler told Andy and Randy of his success last year. "I feel like a lot of people don't realize that literally last year was my first year of starting. You know, full-time 16 game starter."

"Me and the Jaguars, you know, had our ups and downs and they really didn't let me be able to show everybody. You know, in order for you to produce and do what you need, you need reps and things like that. You need to be on the field, and I wasn't on the field like that in Jacksonville."

In his three years in Jacksonville, Fowler managed only 14 sacks, eight of which were from the 2017 season.

"I think some things will be similar here in Atlanta (compared to his time with the Rams) because they have a great defensive line as well such as Grady Jarrett and Takk (McKinley)...and me just bringing my presence, being consistent week in and week out, I think the sky is the limit for us."
