In the Falcons report on Dukes & Bell as the guys talked about the team deciding to not tender defensive back Brian Poole. Poole has played the nickel back role on the team for the past three seasons and is now set to be a free agent on March 13th when the 2019 league year starts.

Carl said that this is the Falcons wanting to get their best playmakers on the field at the same time.

“I think the Falcons are seeing Kazee making plays, with Alford gone and Oliver set to get more playing time.” Said Dukes “I think they wanted to get their best DB’s on the field and Brian Poole wasn’t one of those in their eyes.”

Mike talked about how having a healthy Keanu Neal and Ricardo Allen in 2019 allowed you to make this move.

“I think we’re a better team with Kazee on the field, with a healthy Neal and Ricardo Allen coming back” Bell said “no disrespect to Poole."
