Atlanta Falcons defensive ends Takk McKinley and Derrick Shelby both left Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.

Falcons head coach Dan Quinn joined the Morning Show with John and Hugh to give us an update on both of their statuses for this week's game against the New Orleans Saints:

The Falcons have had a rash of injuries to begin their season with the latest news coming just yesterday as the team announced they placed LG Andy Levitre on IR with a triceps injury. They also signed G Zac Kerin in wake of the news.

“We are really bummed for Andy Levitre. He’s such a good guy, and as good of a player as he is on the field, he’s as impactful off the field. Since we traded for him, what a big leader he’s been; what a consistent guy he’s been. Wes Schweitzer will take over that role, he did a nice job at that spot. We’re disappointed for Andy, but we’re fortunate that we have a player of Wes’ caliber to step in.”
